On the generation debate I have owned a few ZX10R's -I had a pair of gen 2's a road and a full blown track bike. The bike pulled like fury but I could never really get it to turn very well. I had a got on a mates Gen 1 whilst I owned them and I really liked it, turned better and reminded me of my old ZX6R 636 B1H, raw and constantly saying, "I'm going to kill you.....". I bought a Gen III which I used for both road and track and it was much better for both. I then test rode the new Gen 4 bike. Sold my Gen III and my '09 ZX6R (awesome bike and bliss on the track, loved it...) and bought two Gen 4 bikes, returning to having a matching designated track bike and a beautiful road bike, I thought the Gen 4 was ugly when I saw the road bike, sexy as hell in track trim. The styling has now grown on me and as mentioned, aftermarket enhancements, exhausts tail tidies etc makes them look much, much better. For my money in pecking order, Gen 4, Gen III, Gen 1 and lastly Gen II. The Barro is last in the pecking order of Robbosliding, apologies to all Barro worshippers.
