[HRC Fireblade]

Hi guys,

Well simply, i am so f*****g p****d right off.

Was out for a ride this morning with a couple of mates one of which picked up his 2005 Hayabusa from Swindon. I was riding back with him and he decided to give it some down the straight from the M&P's roundabout to the short sweeping left hander at the end that takes you to the next roundabout. We opened up in second gear and that was it we were flying, front wheel in the air for a brief moment but im a heavy bastard and managed to keep it down. He started to get away but to my amazement i started gaining on him while in 4th gear, i was right on his arse then moved over for an over take and passed him going into 6th.

We stopped and chatted about it and he said he was flat out, i said thats not right you should have been gone. We did a standing start again this time i was out in front but only just and he was gradually coming past me but for the second time i held him off in similar circumstances and started to get away. Anyway.....through all this f*****g about, when we got back to my place, i cleaned the bike up free from bugs and put her away in the garage. I took one last look at her and noticed a F*****G HOLE ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF MY BIKE JUST TO THE RIGHT OF THE HEADLIGHT AS YOUR LOOKING AT IT HEAD ON. ITS THE SIZE OF MY THUMB AND THEN SOME.......

Oh and my top gear roll on was faster too from 60mph.... anyway check out my pics of the hole.

that's a fucker, lucky it was there and not in your visor, if it was a stone and not someone damaging the bike for you

Sorry to hear that HRC. Thats some hole. Do you think it come off his bike?

I can't say matey, not sure, i would have thought i'd of heard it but maybe not. Its some hole though. I dont suppose anyone knows how much a front nose cone will be for a limited edition 2007 fireblade??

might be best to get it repaired  and repainted in the area

Jeezzzz. Monster hole! Real lucky it wasn`t in your visor. Last year I was out with a mate on Gixxer Thou,05 model and he ended up with a holed radiator,reckon a stone was throne up by mine as I was in front most of the time.

bloody hell that it a fooking hole and a half.... limited edition nose cone...... dollars me it thinking.... maybe get another panel and get dream machine  to match it

Cheers for the advice boys, i will check out the prices for a nose cone first and depending on how that goes i may consider getting it repaired.

Well to top it off i've just got a puncture in my rear tyre on my 98 Blade, its all fooking appening to me......
