Just got my bike Dyno'd and videoed it at The Ace Cafe in London today.

ZX10R E8F 2008
Results with printout:
176 BHP
197 MPH Top Speed

Totally standard apart from the motoGP style TUBE TECH 2-TR can, (which you can hear)

Click here for the short iphone video I took. thought it was going to explode, was well nervous as I've only had the bike a week.

I asked my dad if I could grow up & ride motorcycles like he did. "Son", he said, "you can't do both."

Does it make much of a difference with the cat gone?

NONE of them get rid of the Cat - only another set of headers will do that as they are in the 2 larger sections as it comes into a single exit.

The speedos are ;)

The cat i in the headers so if they are original and havent been adjusted with a drill the cat is most likely still there the big box the link pipe gets rid of is a baffle box to cut down the noise

(feck beaten to it by 12 secs lol)
Bike and can look and sound sweet and good figures :)

I've been told there are no restrictions in the headers. I've also been told there are restrictions in the headers, like a honeycomb that gets smashed out with a screw driver.

who to believe?

The "honeycomb" IS the catalytic converter.
It's a honeycomb to increase its effective surface area and make it more efficient.
Here's an idea - take you link pipe off - shine a torch into the end of the headers - you will either see the cat or you will see what is left of it if it's been smashed out.
Either way - that's where it is/should be.
