I've just ordered one from Rifleman, had a quick action 1/4 turn throttle on my ZX7r and loved it! All we need now is a Summer!!!

I think I was quite lucky, all I did was snip off both of the lock nuts from each adjuster on the accel cable (One to the right of the rad and one under the airbox) and loosen the cable off as much as possible. I also lubed up the cables pretty good too. It is a little stiffer than before but still returns to closed position, just not as snappy as before. My old ZXR750 didnt have a return cable and so was manual closing pretty much and it never made any difference to me :)
You're right about the summer!!

Hi, did you try cleaning and WD40 the handle bar under the throttle tube? I had a sticking or not as snappy, throttle, was just crap under the throttle tube! Cheers

Hi there, yeah I did that too. I reckon its because the cables are a bit tight, but its nothing that will effect my riding so it should loosen off when the cables stretch a little more. I couldve/shouldve cut a little of the thread off of the adjusters but cba :emb:

Pack your hugger out now if you dont want a hole in it!
a 55 tyre will rub on the centre of it!
Other than that, awesome write up!

Thanks, I've done over 1000 miles on the 55 and its not rubbing. I expect its possibly because its not a new chain so the initial stretch means its not rubbing. But Im going for different gearing when I do, so will probably need a different length chain and will take any possible rubbing issues into account.
