Stomp Grips vs Eazi Grips
« on: April 03, 2012, 07:52:27 PM »

I want to fit some Stomp Grips but but found  an alternative online called  Eazi Grips  at half the price of the Stomp Grips. Has anyone tried them ? I know people rate the Stomp Grips, racers included, but are you paying that much more for the name?  :dontknow:

Not tried any others, tried stomp grip first and wouldnt swap it for anything else, does the job perfectly.

The only thing I would say about Stomp Grip that maybe a downside for some and that is, it can be a bit harsh on some leathers, on the inner knee area of my leathers there is an area of material covering the leather and its beginning to wear due to the stomp grip, but I would still use Stomp Grip because it works so well and you really can grip the tank hard, massive help when braking and great when cornering.

Some of the others look a lot less "abrasive" and maybe an ok choice for a road biased bike but for me personaly, on track its Stomp Grip all the way  :headbang:

2 things...
Stomp grips are brilliant but...
If eazi grips are half the price (17 - 18 quid?) give em a whirl!
I'm all for supporting British products.

(ps, just looked at their shop. 26 to 30 quid is hardly half price. Or have stompgrips gone up recently?  :dontknow:)

Stomp works - period.
The others have had complaints about the adhesives they use.
Prep well, heat well and have no issues.

My 20 quids worth of sticky plastic arrived today.
Well I wish I had bought stomp grips basically.

The universal pads I bought are absolutely tiny, I will have to use them before I pass a final judgement but at face value, it's not looking good.
