Hi all,
Picked up my first proper bike last Friday 06 ZX10R in Silver (gold really).
For my first 3 years of riding I've been on a speed four and after 35,000 miles through rain, shine  and snow once or twice it was a little tired to say the least. So, I wanted a bike that I can use every day to commute to work and do a weekly return trip Bristol to Bournemouth. Probably not the most practical bike but at least I am smiling every day. What a bike, I only wish I upgraded sooner!

New to the site so hope to pick up a few hints and tips and maybe some new routes to ride.

Nothing wrong with commuting on a ZX10R, I did it for years,  :headbang: never ever had an issue

I didnt say there was anything wrong with it, just that it is hardcore.

There are plenty of bikes out there that are better or more suited to commuting  :icon_thumright:

Welcome. When I upgraded from a zx7r thought a ten would be a handful, but no, they do everything, they rock  :occasion14:

Not great at green laning tho  :icon_thumright:

I use my barra 10R for my commute, 50 miles a day. Perfect commuter 8)
