That's kinda what I had in mind to be honest Jon - thanks, makes me feel better that I wasn't a million miles off. Guess it's just a wait and see game now then. how much do you reckon calipers are worth ? and do GSXR ones fit ? I've been told certain K series with radial brakes are interchangeable ?

mate if you can get the 05 636 forks they have more adjustment than the old 636 and the zx10r forks  :icon_thumright:

The gix sounds like a nice little project. The forks off the 03-04 636 are different to the 05 636 but fit the same yokes. I think the differences are internals and nitride coated legs, same goes for the 04-05 ZX10R forks.
