Looks to reset the bar on folk who move to noisy venues (ie- racetracks, airports, railways etc..) and expect local councils to shut them down.....not anymore

. Mind you the european Court for Human rights would probably overturn it

Really pleased for the whole complex but especially for the mx track as I used to race there in the 90s.

I know that Cliff, the present owner faced huge costs if this had failed and would have wiped him out, it's unfortunate that the couple who took the case to court will probably now lose everything they have but maybe they should have considered that in the first place.

I agree. There is a similar sketch with a couple who moved in just outside the perimeter of RAF Waddington a number of years ago. It would appear that jets making a noise came as a surprise to them. The base has only been there since the Second World War...They have tried causing problems about aircraft, claimed for double glazing (its always money with these types of tossers isn't it?), I can't stick folk like that. I take great delight in advertising our track days there (next one there 11th Aug 2012 quick plug!), which I would like to add has no noise restriction....

This is good news, i go to that stadium alot to watch the bangers. I also know the Coventry brothers who promote the track.I am sure this is a weight off their minds.

we get noise complaints at work all the time (i work on the london unerground) youve bought a house next to a railway thats been here since before your house was built ITS GOING TO BE NOISEY ffs

bout time common sense kicked in they chose to live there knowing the track and stadium were there
