Smog block?
« on: February 19, 2012, 06:37:54 PM »

Just getting ready to get my custom pc3 map done, gen 2 with Decat and slip ons. Is it true for UK bikes that there needs to be blocked off smog gear for correct sniffer measurement? If so can this be done by just blocking the vent pipe from the air box or should this be done with the block off plates?  :occasion14:

The dyno guy pinches the pipe, to stop it working, when they do the custom map.  I fitted block-off plates so there's more room to work on the plugs, etc.

Great, thanks Doug. In that case I think I'll just block it and leave it that way.
