The mudguard is wrapped with 3M Di-Noc vinyl . Took the sides off first and started at the front at the middle, it was a bit of a pain to do (especially the back section) but with a hair dryer to soften the vinyl it was about 30 mins start to finish. Its fairly cheap to do and the 3M vinyl has pores to allow trapped air to escape, I was going to paint it but figured that it will only end up stone chipped again, with the vinyl it can be removed and replaced, it is available in lots of different colours (wood grain too) and leaves the paint beneath undamaged, its also a tenth of the price of a carbon mudguard ! I did tail a few years back and its still ok.  I buy from here   http://www.undergroundgraphics.com/   :icon_thumright:

Bikes looking really good, the vinyl wrap looks great, i've seen it used on cars but never on a bike. Good stuff and good inspiration for me after chucking my barra down the road last week.
Keep up the good work  :occasion14:

Well a bit more done today, 2 coats of white basecoat, 4 coats of green and 2 clear, not too bad for a dusty garage with a polly and duct tape tent !! Just a de nib and a buff to do now, I didn't put the decals on before clear as its a pain should I want to re spray it at a later date. Thanks for + comments  :icon_thumright:

Groundcoat

Basecoat

Clear

Thanks, Turned out ok but life would be easier if I had a booth to paint in !! Colour match to original painted side panels is spot on, so code 777=New lime green  :icon_thumright:
