Hi I am Andy from Darlington in the north east, not got a clue what I am doing on this site yet but I will get the hang of it soon.
I have just picked up a 2005 zx10r after trading in my baby 07 zx6r which was my first bike. I have spent the last week putting my mark on the bike as it was prity much standed when I got it so the parts list is as followed: racefit slash cut pipe, GPR damper, black tint front and rear indicators, carbon rear hugger, seat hump, gear indicator to be fitted next. I am on the look out for a db screen and a pc3 so if one is going cheap let me know. Thanks.

Front brakes were poor but soon resolved with new calipers or a brembo or similar master cylinder

Frames split along welds down seam under tank in accidents and sometimes from too many bad wheelies

Misfires are often just a need for new plugs which take 1.5 - 3 hours to replace as it's a pig of a job

Check the air filter as the nose sucks in a lot of debris which builds up at the sides of the filter

other than that all is good fella , enjoy and those slash pipes sound like war so beware the boys in blue and their tickets ;o)
