New Wheels
« on: January 31, 2012, 12:00:21 PM »

After much soul searching the MV is going ( swaying factor was the disgusting customer service that I received from MotoGB (importer) after a problem.)

The new wheels are a GSXR 1000 Crescent Suzuki Tommy Hill rep

Nice bike there m8  :icon_thumleft:
Cant say as I blame you for jumping ship either.
MV is a lovely bike but without good customer care any bike can be a mare to own.
Guess you'll be signing up over on gixerjunkies now then?  :tongue3:

Hammy I would have kept the MV if the customer service I received had been better. Great bike
Emailed them with a complaint and a question I needed answering and 5 weeks and 7 phone calls later still no response . After 8th call and threatening to go to NEC show and confront the MotoGB boss I got a reply that was just a brush off.
I wouldn't expect that sort of service if I had bought a 50cc scooter let alone an MV

I know it's a better bike but just don't like the look of the new 10R and had 2 3rd gens already.
Choice was this or R1 and this came up at right time 153 miles and all the goodies

I had Gixxers from 1997 to 2005, 2 600's and a 750 and loved them. Fancied a change in 2005 and was swayed by the 0% on the 10R and never regretted it. The '05 was an awsome bike and still say I had the most fun on that over any of the other bikes I've had.
But time for a change again as I really dont like the styling of the '11/'12 10R, so back to a Gixxer

Don't blame you for being pissed at the importers, mate bought a new F4 and had shit from them too, dealer refused to pick the bike up for the recall work on the airbox despite their letter stating that the bike could be dangerous to ride until the work was done, dealer is only 15 miles away. Can't say Kawasaki are any better though but at least (in the past) the bikes were a reasonable price. You want customer service? Go to BMW, mate was given a free Akropovic can after a minor problem put bike into the dealer for a week.  :-S
