i think it was a case of getting too big too quick and then the slump biting hard there swindon branch was massive and always busy on the weekend but talking to the sales guys they just wernt shifting the bikes at a quick enough rate

as someone else said i can see it reopening under a differant name and buisness as usual they still have all that stock to shift

Most of these big dealers and 'atuomotive' (car dealership) backed bike shops ain't got a clue on what they're doing, and just play at it.  Feel sorry for the staff, losing their jobs etc.. but maybe this will help out the smaller 'oily rag' bike shops to earn a living.
