jeffboyo1, first let the runs totally dry before sanding them out, or 'carefully' wipe back with thinners so the coats you previously put on are totally removed.
Second, doesn't always matter how long you leave between coats if you have a hair-dryer. Best bet is to put on a nice thin coat, then hair-dryer on a low setting, then another thin coat, then hair-dryer and so on and so until you have a nice even coat. Always spray about 20-30cm's away from the panel, and first coat should be side to side, then second coat top to bottom, and run the hair-dryer over each coat on a low setting about the same distance away. Repeat this for each application and DON'T TOUCH IT to see if it's dry, just leave it alone, this take a little time so don't rush it.
Oh and wear a mask as the sprays ain't very nice to breathe in.
