is anyone playing it?

yeah man ive played both mate i brought cod first and thought it was a crock of s**t so i traded it in and got battlefield 3 and i must say its brilliant but bloody hard 
im a big cod fan and ive loved all the previous ones but for some reason this one just hasn't hit it off

I actually got both and they both have their merits.

BF3 is more tactical and calculated. You can't just run about like a loon, all guns blazing.

MW3 is a shoot em up! Its manic, crazy and very arcadey.

I enjoy both styles, however Forza 4 is where its at right now!

I'm a complete virgin in the world of game consoles. Just got my first xbox 360 and introducing myself to some old stuff. Playing MW2 but don't like brothers in arms. Also started a trial of xbox live with MW2 and everybody kicks my ass!! I don't even know where from, how or when. I don't even know who's the enemy who's a friend. And why the hell others have sophisticated weapons including planes and i have jack sh.t?
I don't even know what some icones mean

I'm the same as you! My first gaming was done on an IBM 5.5 inch floppy! Then we had a IBM with a whole 1MB ram and a 10MB hard drive! lol

I had an Amiga 500+ but was always into PC gaming, got my xbox 360 last december, which is my first console 

I too get my ass kicked on MW etc.  A LOT!

So guys, can anybody tell me what some icons mean in MW2 when u play death matches? Like scull with bones? It fades after short while?
