braw wee run

had a braw run with the mates today for the boys fae this neck o the woods started of at kinross (fife) headed north to braemar stoped for breakfast at the hungry highlander then up over to tomintoul past the lecht ski slope into granton on spey through nethy bridge to aviemore from here to kingussie past loch laggan (see foto and yes that is snow on the hills) to spean bridge to fort william the down through glen coe to tyndrum then past loch earn to creiff then down glen devon back to kinross n home around 370 miles :icon_thumleft:

racetecs mate use them all the time unless its raining and i change to full wets for trackdays do alot of trackdays up here then finish them off on a weekend run if nothing else doing :icon_thumleft:

most of the roads up here are well twisty so you dont realy square off to many tyres :icon_thumright:

thats good milage for a racetec then....... I think I have done between 400 and maybe 800 not to sure and I think its gone  :dontknow:

cool is that k2`s i usualy give em to ma mates wen am done with them saves me having to get rid of em :lol: n they usualy get a few miles on them n one o the cheeky fuckers was selling them :lol:

i`m going to try the new dunlop gp with the 60 profile a mates use`n them in the scottish rounds says you get more feel and more side grip so gona give them a go last time on dunlops they were 207rr n they were shite unless they were hot on a R1 on sunday had mitchelins on it n you could feel it sliding going into corners front and back :shock: so gave the bike back before i done something silly on it :icon_thumleft:

no mate but can do under 1 min in the wet at knockhill and keep up with some of them in the dry my mates keep trying to talk me into it was going to get my licence so i could do the endurance races junior 2hrs  but up here have to do 15 races 600cc or lower before you can race a thou(  or join north of england to get round it)used to race moto x till 2005 done loads of 3hr beach races & 2 hr moto duro`s(2 hrs on moto x track one fuel stop) :icon_thumleft:
