Does it need shaking well before use? I had a tin of chain lube clog and tbh I think it's because I didn't shake the can enough......just a thought.

sit the can in a bowl of warm water and then shake well before using. Best results are obtained if you spray it into the lid then use a brush to apply it, less wasteful and like you say at 15 quid a pop you dont want to be wasting ANY

I had my bike treated by the lads at http://www.allyearbiker.co.uk/ before the winter, they are certified by ACF themselves and explained you only need a fraction of the can to cover an entire bike. ACF saw something like a 500% increase in sales once bikers started using it and they couldn't understand why. They then found out people were absolutely lashing the stuff on, applying up to 50 times the recommended application.

Are you holding down the nozzle when you spray it on or are you giving it a quick blast then working it over the bike?
