test rode the 1199s with a full termi race kit on today from my local dealer....what can i say...absolutely fookin amazing!!!! this thing is the most powerful thing ive ever ridden, its unbelievably fast. quickshifter is excellent,traction control, suspension and abs all superb and even though im 6ft its roomy enough....only down side is the seat will garentee to give you piles!! its rock hard.
they have them in most ducati showrooms at the mo and i,d highly reccomend you go and test ride 1, you will not be dissapointed. only thing now is i gotta wait for mine to arrive!! im half thinking of walking to Bologne and picking it up myself!

I have it!! She is mine!! 
Just put the first 300 odd miles on it, drinking oil and smoking like a bitch on start up ...But i love it! apparently the oil and smoke issues go away after the 1st service at 600 mile.
Even at a restricted 6k revs it goes like stink, just cant wait to get this running period over so i can use the whole 12k range!
Its gonna be a good summer.
