I have historically used racetecs on my ZX10 for track days, mainly cadwell and a few at Donington, Mallory, Rockingham. They have lasted me very well, good grip and even wear. I had my suspension set up and this coincided with me swapping to racetec interacts. Since then I am destroying rears on the right side like crazy. I have done TWO trackdays at Cadwell, both his month this so coolish temperatures and wasted a new rear completely on the right side, the centre is like new....infact it was new!!! I am going to soften the preload off. They are grippy but something isn't right there me thinks.....

You are correct Cronan.......it was M5's i had and IMO they were poor on the track and it was 22+ degrees on the day......in fact i have an almost new front in the garage that will never go back on

I'm suprised! They've had really good write ups, I checked a ton of various forums for feedback before I bought them and as I say, on the road Im really impressed with them, though I'm a fair weather rider so I shouldve gone for the Racetecs but these are great at the mo  B-)

I have the Diablo Rosso Corsa on and used my bike on track at Silverstone recently, I was pleased with the way they performed  :icon_thumright:

ok gotta drag this back up as giving the trackbike a face lift ready for the new year, i been reading reviews on the / metzeler racetec interact k3 tyres/ they are the same price as my current tyres /diablo supercorsa's/. the reviews for the racetec's are realy good. mmmmm
so its just between these two tyres:

metzeler racetec interact k3 ???
or
pirelli diablo supercorsa's ???
what ones have you used ?

Last trackday I was on I has a pair of Diable Rosso Corsa II's on and the bike never budged, more grip then you can shake a stick at, stonking tyre.  :icon_thumright:
