Yep the 2.7 will be fine, tyre warmers in general take around 1200 watts for the pair, we have regulary run 2 sets on a 2.7kva genny, my own genny is only 1.7 and it copes ok, only thing to remember is that the quoted kva on gennys is very often the peak power, they are generaly happier running 300 or so watts lower.

I have a honda little suitcase one 1200 w perfect not noisy like my mates fooking building one that we have to strap down as it bounces round the paddock, even have to turn off when being briefed as you can hear anyone  [rofl]
