I need to buy  a headstock front paddock stand only going use once as im taking forks out over winter to send to k-tech, before i buy new just wondered if anyone had one gathering dust they wanna flog cheers  :icon_thumright:

Just use a A Frame step ladder, place over Headstock and place piece off wood between highest rungs and tie Yoke to this.........................

Pete Clifford had some cheap ones for sale mate (Actiforce Suspension) if that  helps.  I use an Abba stand and use a ratchet strap to anchor the rear of the bike down to my ground anchor when I take the forks off.

could get an abba stand .....place small jack/prop under sump.....much more stable

Knowing my luck I'd go through the sump cheers horse put idea in my head but a little different I have roof beams in garage 2 ratchet straps around headstock to beams . Someone plz tell me if I'm being stupid here ha ha

That was something else I was going to suggest but didn't realise you had beams in Garage. This is not a stupid idea and works fine, I've done it in past.

Bang on didn't know if to hang weight just on top yoke but if it's been done it's the way I'm going thanks for the speedy input guys top stuff  :hello2:

Hanging it from the roof beams will work if your ratchet straps are strong.  Mine weren't, came home from work to find front of bike on the floor, broke a few fairing lugs, but no serious damage!  :emb:  Hoisted it back up using 3 straps this time.  Got some better quality straps now, so shouldn't happen again. :icon_thumright:
