yeah had a simaler sort of thing when scott smart was on a trackday testing also at mallory you think your goin quite well untill exiting edwinas and a green kawasaki comes flying past front wheel a foot in the air and by the time i exited the hairpin he was out of sight defnatly makes you realise were only touching the surface of what a bike can do

Also had the same a few years back now at mallory cant even remember what tyres i had on but think supercorsas, It started raining quite moderate got down to the holding bay and john reynolds was parked by the side of me on a k7 gsxr1000 with same tyres i said "you going out" he said " yeah why not ? " i said "dont like the tyres in this weather" he said "wanna follow me couple of laps ?" i thought might as well might learn summat started off got round barn gone like WTF didnt see him again until he lapped me and put his thumb up while banked over in the pissing down rain class

I had this kind of experience about 10 yrs back, when I raced my ZXR superbike in a round of the Austrlaian Superbike Championships. I was lucky to qualify, whereas up at the front were the likes of Kevin Curtain, Anthony Gobert, and Craig Coxhell. I remember being passed by Gobert when he lapped me ; I'd come over the crest of a hill, and hit the brakes as late as I dared. He wheelied past me, dropped the front into the next corner, and just pssed off. Seriously, I wanted to burst into applause !

Excellent stories there lads,

They just dont have a 'fear' part in their brain, its not what you ride its how you ride it...

bottom line is ride within your limits, get home and above all have fun.

Exit charlies two onto the park straight at cadwell. Absolutely pinned to the stop on my then fireblade. I'm flat out. Then Glenn Richards passes me so fast i would swear blind my bike was stationary. He was on a cbr600.
