Newbie saying hello and groveling for advice
« on: July 17, 2011, 08:23:26 AM »

Hello all :)  fanatastic site and very informative . My names matt and i'm from Bristol

First post , so i though it had better be an interesting one :)

  i'm usually into my kwak 750's ie. zxr750r's zx7r's etc , but i recently decided my life wouldn't be complete without  a 10r .

i've bought Malcolm Ashleys 05 bsb bike and have mot'd it to put it on the road . The only snag is , kawasaki uk will not supply a certificate of conformity to enable me to register it because it does not have it't original numbers matching engine ( which probably blew itself to smitherins long ago )

has anyone got any advice on finding out the bikes original engine number ? i can't really go down the sva route to register it because i think i will get shot by vosa on the spot :D

kawasaki uk are not really interested , so any advice would be a real help

 a pic or two ;)
