got 150 to light last thursday in touring mood to Wales then futher 18 but put in 17.55 ltrs but on trips out 110 to to light

in a 17 litre tank  :icon_scratch:

I thought 17.55 ltrs was a bit much but I have only had bike 4 weeks and i often put in more than 17ltrs never did with previous model  any body else put in more than 17
i'am curious.

17 is. The base of the filler neck - there is room for about another 2.5lts if you keep going..........

blooming hell thats pretty good what miles your getting  :shock:
anyone no what sort of mileage you get sitting about 90 on the motorway for long distance  :icon_thumright:

This the speed I usually sit at on the motorway. You're looking at approx 170-180 before the light comes on and it's up to you how much you want to chance it from then. I managed 20 miles on reserve once but I normally fill up within 5. (09 ZX10R)

I always manage to get at least 150 miles when I'm riding on the road, I never ride that slowly either! I can easily blitz that on the track though. The lowest milages for me was 63 miles at cadwell a few weeks ago before the light came on.
