My riding is dictated by Twist of the Wrist II, it IS the definative riding bible and I now hold you in high regard my good man...well done you.
A guy I knew works for them, apparently the 'Grilling' is one of the hardest interviews you'll ever have. Good luck  :icon_thumright:

Good luck,

at least two of their instructors have left in the last month or so due to how they are/want to do things.

Could you elaborate on that ? Pm me if you want

Well to yesterday was the most difficult experience I've ever had is an understatement, first session of the day student has a big off rite in front of me so I stop to see if he's ok and I get the biggest blocking ever for doing so,seen why but thought it was a bit extreme so that didn't start the day off well,

Long and short of it is I failed the grilling but I've been given another chance because I was close, but tbh I seen/heard things yesterday that has made me wonder if it's for me so got some thinking to do

Working with bikes and the public is bloody hard work sometimes, small rewards but satisfying none-the-less. Although when it's going well it's a buzz, when problems arise it feels totally shit and you've gotta stay proffessional no matter what.
Work out if you can still do the job passionately in six months time and whether the 'buzz' for bikes will still be there. If it's yes then go for another try, I know of an instructor there, he says he loves the job but it is hard work and long hours...it is a service industry after all. The beauty of the posistion you're considering is that your skill level of riding will flourish to a much higher level, but can you off-set it against quality of life in other areas? I've found this out working with bikes, and don't really get much time for myself and more importantly time for my wife.
How green is the grass on the other side?  ;-)
