new welshman says hello

hello everyone i am soon to be the proud owner of a (black) zx10r on friday the 10 of june its a 2006 plate, havent had a bike for 9 years so cant wait, last bike was a cbr600 so bit of a step up :shock: is there anything that i should do when i get it, like any common bits that mite come loose.....

thats up by pontypool init, i used to do alot of work up pontypool when i worked for a maintenance company. hoping to go to swansea saterday to have alarm fitted on bike.

no not many i cant wait , i told the mrs that i will have to go out on my own few days just to get used to the bike  :lol: , she works most saterdays too.

hi all had my 06 zx10r black last week....
back in 2000, i did a direct access course to do my bike test after i past my test went out and got a cbr600 brand new in the 2 years i had the bike all i had to do was oil the chain, tyres got done by the people that i had the bike from, so didnt have any experience with doing the machanic's on bikes. i only sold the bike and my house at the time dew to splitting up with the x
so this is only my second bike and thats why i ask some  stupid questions on here.
if i had a choice at the time i would of kept the bike and gladley sold the house but had no place to keep the bike so had to go.
