emergency bikers
« on: May 14, 2011, 08:29:43 AM »

hi chaps did anyone watch emergency bikers this week? i couldn't beliieve it when the essex bike cops stoped 5 bikers after catching them on camera doing 100+ mph, the bike cop gave them an option of being charged for careless riding and going to court etc or going on a 2 day safety course with the essex bikers and dropping all charges

i thought they were very lucky boys and the copper was very good to them, so not all bike cops are complete a*******s  [clap]

also 2 of the bikers that got stopped had zx10r's so are you on here chaps? also they follow the paramedic bikers in Birmingham and i was glad to see one of them owns a zx10r aswell  :headbang:

Yep, I watched that and they were lucky  ;-)

The use of unmarked bikes is a bit sneaky though

I recon he has done it only because of camera. If he wasn't recorded I think it would end in court. But that's just my opinion.

I disagree if i got pulled i and saw a film crew my heart would sink as the coppers actions can be subject to a lot of scruiteny so there more likely to play it safe and book em

In my experience unmarked plod are a bit more forgiving then marked ones

Yes I watched that, was expecting the cop to throw the book at them! Riding over 100mph, overtaking over unbroken lines, I'm sure he said up to 140 mph at one stage as his beemer could hardley keep up!...They were lucky lucky boys or in some of their cases not so young boys. [rofl]
