It started for me at the grand old age of 12!

Yamaha dt50m with 80cc cylinder head, I rode it on fields and put it on the road at the age of 16. I've still got it 20 yrs later!

Suzuki rm125, bag of shite bought out the local paper cheap as a field bike, i'm sure it was a stolen bike looking back.

Suzuki gsxr400rr as my 1st sports style bike, bought it cheap smashed up, fixed it up, blew it up twice and crashed it twice before trading it in

Zx7r which I still own, although now it's a trackbike with lots of nice parts

rsvr edwards, unreliable bitch of a bike which my father in law crashed heavily at oulton breaking vertibre in his back. It was such a dog I split it rather than selling it.

087 crf250r my race bike for the last 2 seasons, I sold it about 2 months back. It was a belter.

05 zx10r. Yeah baby...

1. Suzuki AP 50, shed with chocolate engine
2. Honda MBX 50, good little bike, there were quite a few around our way.
3. Honda MT 5/100, H 100 engined ass kicking 'ped.  Looked a shed but slayed many who challenged.
4. Yamaha RD 125 LC.  Always wanted one, it wouldn't rev past 9k though so was 'fettled' to be quick up to 9K.
5.  Suzuki ER 125.  Bit of practice before my bike test!
Pass test.
6. Yamaha RD 350 LC., with nitrous!  Still got it in various piles around the garage!  It will return......
7. Suzuki GSXR 1100M.  1st proper bike.  Loved it, still do, wherever it is.....
8. Kawasaki ZX6R J1.  Nice, but didn't really gel.
9. Kawasaki ZX10R.  Current lover, things have moved on a bit!

Started riding in 2001 at the age of 20.

2001 - 1998 Honda CB400F Superfour

2004 - 1992 Kawasaki ZXR750 J2.  Wrote off the Honda into the back of a car which pulled out on me.  Managed a nice upgrade to the 750 with the insurance money.

2006 - 2003 Suzuki SV650.  I came off the ZXR under braking into a roundabout and it slid into the curb and bent the front forks and headstock.  I got it restraightened and set about getting it rebuilt and sorted but my heart wasn't in it and it ended up taking years.  In the mean time my girlfriend at the time loaned me the SV to play about on.

2007 - 1996 Kawasaki ZX7R P1.  By 2007 I still hadn't finished the ZXR, and like I said, my heart wasn't in it and I'd pretty much given up so I part exed it for a ZX7R.  Loved it, great bike!

2011 - 2004 Kawasaki ZX10R C1H.  Over the forthcoming years I had lots of things go wrong, a small crash and never ending niggling problems that kept me off the damn thing (ZX7R) throughout ownership, so this year (after 4 years of approx only 1000 miles) I decided enough was enough, it was time to get a new one. And I managed to buy my dream bike! 2004 Kawasaki ZX10R. All I can say is that it is fookin mental and provides me with ear to ear grins everytime I even look at it, let alone ride it!

Well the plan was to keep the 10 as well, have you ridden the K5/6?  I would buy a new 10 but hate the look of the new one,add to that the price  . . . . . K5 I rode had cost 4k and was nicer to ride than mates new F4 MV (nice to look at but has already lost 2k in a year) Not so much a downgrade as a sidestep !
