A 80:1 mix?  I seem to remember running my 250 at around 50-60:1 with semi synthetic without any problems.

my kart ran at 100/1

the first thing i would try was a new plug, it may look ok out of the cylinder but under pressure they can fail and dont use an iridium one with low rpm 2 strokes.
if its not using the gearbox oil up through seals or gaskets being broke or worn my guess would either be a blocked silencer or worn rings.

just my 2p worth
