Without wishing to sound negative thats fair comment.
The IAM is a good post test course but there's much more to get your teeth into when you're ready.
Bike safe is a goodun as is ROSPA which is another level again from IAM.
They dont just have pass or fail. Its structured - fail, bronze, silver and gold. They are very particular.
There is even another level above that but its maga bucks. Called ROSPA Assessor.
I do more sports oriented rider training, teaching people to use 170+ BHP rocketships better/faster/more competently (and therefore, at the end of the day, safer).
In fact who sez it has to be 170+bhp!  :tongue3:

I have to add that if the OP is new to biking or feels he doesn't ride at his best due to personal confidence then to pass the IAM is a credit to him nonetheless.

It will go a long way to help his confidence and make him abteer safer rider which is what we all aim to do.

I did the RoSpa Gold course many years ago and thought it was pretty good but still a long way off the police advanced bike course which has the added experience of no speed limits depending on the scenario and conditions/location.

Above all else, any instruction to better your ability to handle today's (& yesterdays) bikes, which improved your confidence & safety is worth doing  :headbang:

Once again, well done that man, next step trackday instruction  :headbang:
