Its easy to mod cycles but works out mega expensive if you want good components. more than it costs to mod a ZX10. 20lbs in three months how have you managed that, what workout regime are you on. reason for asking is I have lost 42lb since January with a combination of resistance work and cycling. interval training will give you more power short sharp efforts.

a simple less in and more out

I've used a phone app to monitor my intake and have exercised more on my MTB so it's fun exercise and not brain numbing

and yes it's simple to complete the mods / upgrades, the engine is me afterall. I've found loads of trails to ride and it's bloody brilliant fun riding MTB, I've been riding regularly for 2.5 years now and love it, the difficult bit is the forst 6 months of pain but once the fitness is reasonable you can ride further and more challenging trails and thats where the thrills are

I now have

- hope brakes and floating rotors, very bling but great too
- Revelation RLT Ti 150mm forks, bloody brilliant
- AM DT Swiss 5.1 wheels which rarely failk
- Hope pro 2 hubs, very good especially the 'clicky' noise that others can hear when you are catching them
- A better saddle, very important
- XT 30 speed groupset, very nice and works well
- More tyres than you can shake a stick at,  albeit have settled for Panaracer XC pro  as a do it all tyre

it's great fun for sure but my god it costs a few quid just to ride a push bike these days  [whistle]

I'm not particularly into full suspension mtb's, but that is quite stunning, even though it looks like some fat bastard has sat on the crossbar!  :tongue3: :icon_thumright:

The 06/07 is for poofs. Its ridden side saddle and looks like a wheelbarrow. The 04/05 is for real men with balls of steel and it is fueled by the very fires of hell!
