Hi there not done many road miles last couple of years but doing euro trip July 10th and fitting some road tyres i dont think ill get away with pressures that i run in my Dunlop gp211 19psi rear 29 psi front  what sort of pressures are you road boys running ill be doing about 2500 miles on some diablo sport tyres in Spain/France.

I also run Dunlop GP Racers, on the road I go for 36/36, I did email Dunlop and they recommended 36F 42R for the road which seems to be the standard pressure for all modern jap bikes.

I have always run recommended pressures when on the road. Never had an issue in any weather and you will get longevity out of the tyres too

I thin k when touring is involved I'd go with the 36/42  standard settings. Until you get into europe, then drop em for the real fun to begin.. 30/30.

I don't think anybody has asked a reasonable question - what are you taking?  it will make a big difference.  If your going light - ie tank bag only (yes you can survive), then I would most probably run my normal - 35/35 or like others 36/36.  However if your loading her up, throw overs, tail pack, tank bag, then run the standard 36/42 but see how she feels.

Running both a ZX10 and GTR1400, the GTR recommends 42/42 but even fully loaded it feels a tad hard, so adjust to suit your total load - run high, if you don't like it you can always let out a couple of pounds easily, but its a bit more of a pain to put it back in.

I ride with just me and my leathers, I run the standard 36/42 on the Corsa 3 that came with the bike from new and I love it, feels very planted.  More gains to be had out of the suspension and tyre choice rather than tyre pressure.
