Try another oe one, Scorpion or just use silicon - as long as it smells like vinegar it will seal.

Which gasket are you talking about as I have one in the garage, brand new, but think it its the gasket between the link pipe and where the original exhaust bolts on.

Thanks, but it's the spongy gasket that's inside the original link pipe.  Where it meets the valve part.  I might just buy some sealant, or see if the original one will come off.
