Ultimate Ear.....Speakers or Normal

Had my ears remoulded at the NEC and they have just rang me asking if I want to place an order.  I definitely will be ordering something but tempted to get the SoundEar's which have built in speakers so act as noise reducing earplugs and headphones.  I have an Starcom, with iPod etc and previously had headset in helmet but wasn't that great. 
Any thought, anyone used them?
I also like the fact I can then use them no matter which helmet I have on?
