So I was thinking what was my best biking year.

For me it was 2007.
why?
I got my zx10, went from a '86 600 to my '07 10.
Met a great bunch of guys on here. 
Got to do my first track day.
Got to see Hammy running in his skids down bruntingthorpe runnway 
First knee down.
Had some brillaint ride outs.

Best year for me was 2000 me and a mate went to 8 rounds of the bsb championship and what a year that was even though the wrong guy won as far as I'm concerned but what a season

2007 sums it for me too, got the ZX10R, joined the forum and biking life took off from there....

Box Hill and Bruntingthorpe triumphs, forum trackday and hooning around with you motley lot, still in touch with a few of you guys now, and lets hope we can revive much of the tomfoolery that 2007 gave birth to..

1979 because I got my first field bike, I was 13, it was a dream come true 

Then every year since because I've had bikes ever since that day

1995 My first TT, made some great friends and introduced me to the mad world of road racing, having the privillage of watching some of the legends who sadly are no longer with us... and some who are still racing! , memories to last a lifetime

2006 for me....myself and 9 other like minded nutters enjoyed a trip to Mugello for the gp taking in my first visit to the Nurburgh Ring on the way back.Also enjoyed my first trackday or rather track wkend....Cadwell park  took in WSB and 4 rnds of bsb

Don't thoughts like this bring back the good and bad memories.....
1992 passed bike test went booloo on KR1S, good fun....RGV's followed, good fun, got fed up of seizures....
1995 bought a brand new ZXR 400, did my first Performance Bikes Frenzy track day (what a baptisim of fire that was!). 1996 bought a ZX6R, more tracks days....R6, 4 more ZX6R's followed both road and track, RS250's (never learnt that seizure lesson!), track ZXR 400 and a sprinkling of dirt bikes in th ebackground. Then from 600's onto ZX10R's.....I'm on my 3rd one now + an 09 ZX6R- I can't stop buying 6r's! About 30 bikes in between then and now. I'm 38 now, trackdaying at the rate of about 20 a year, have a van for the purpose and as much access to my favourite things as I like as I have ever had...Visits to the NW200, IOM, its all happening, very hard to pick a favourite year.....Easy to pick the bad ones though ......
