they slated the new 10 , they say the blade and the bmw are better bikes ...
funny thing is they say it has no low down grunt yet every other review even mcn a few months back praise the low down power.

I picked it off the shelf, read the front cover, thought bunch of w*nkers, BMW & Honda must be paying them more advertising space, and put it back on the shelf  [wall]

These day you dont know who to believe/trust.
Even the BBC/ITV/etc news is sensationalized FFS!  [wall]
There's not a lot I believe unless I've seen it with my own eyes TBH
I'm just looking forward to when the bikes all get out on track together.
There's no hiding then!

There was a group test in BIKE magazine a few months back where  Kevin Schwantz tested a BMW, RSV4R and MV Augusta at Snett. He rode then all and said that for him the RSV4R was the best bike of the lot. Now the bike journos themselves had also tested the bikes a while back but they ran another test that same  issue anyway and declared the BMW the winner. One look through the mag at the amount of BMW adverts confiremd why.

It tells you enough about their judgement when their 09 bike was the R1 ahead of the Blade, yet in 2010 they placed the same model R1 third behind the same model Blade and Beemer! Work that out

deja vu

it's the opinion of a single person or small group which is influenced, I'm not saying that the !0R is the best bike, we all know how good the blade is and I for one didn't buy my 10R because a spotty journo said I should. I bought the ten because it looks fooking fantastic and rides like a wild animal on speed

It all begs the question of why you buy these mags, the best place to find an honest opinion is on forums like this from real life owners who live with the bikes and don't make a judgemant by thrashing around a silky smooth race track comparing by the millisecond with sponsors all watching and offering 'advice'

My ten is old and by far the nicest looking bike on the planet and is a far better bike than I am a rider, i have no need for the latest and greatest as advised by a spotty teenager, I'll stick with 'old dusty' and I'll still ride as fast as I dare and will take my lid off laughing like a madman , everytime.......
