power commamder in hand luggage ?

Has anyone taken a power commander through airport security in hand luggage without having it confiscated or gettin arrested for bein a terrorist ?

Yeah wrap it up and put in main luggage. Should be ok.

Main luggage definitely the safer option. Imagine the confiscated it from your hand luggage!   :crybaby2:

Didn't have "hold luggage" so took chance and put it in hand luggage but was willing, and expecting, to pay for the bag to go in hold. Bag went through scanner without it bein pulled to side. Surprised !  [whistle]

I was coming back from the NEC show in Nov and got pulled by Security for the sparkie knee sliders in my carry on, had to explain the titanium rods in the plastic and what they were for, when I asked why it set off alarm bells he told me it came up on the scanner a similar colour to plastic explosives!  :shock:

Good thing he had a sense of humour about the whole thing otherwise it was finger up the bum time!  :crybaby2:
