Hi to all from Oz

Hi all, stumbled across this forum in a Google search. I've been on 10r.net for a while, but had no idea this existed. I'm in Sydney, presently about the only part of Australia that isn't under water ...

I'm the loving owner of an '07 that has had far too much time and money spent on it (don't tell the wife or I'll be castrated). Bike is track-use only, and I've concentrated on getting it as light as I can ; don't know for certain what the starting point was, but I've removed net 36.1 kg to date. A bit more to come over time, but most definitely the easy stuff has been done.

Look forward to learning plenty and meeting good people on here, and hopefully contributing from time to time.

Cheers fellas, a couple of pics attached, sans fairing and with the BSTs yet to be fitted. I won't go right through the full list of mods, but main stuff to date is :

kit ECU, wiring loom, tacho, and alternator
Dynojet Quickshifter
BMC race filter
Factory Pro v-stacks
Akrapovic ti full system
Nissin front calipers
AP radial adjustable master cylinder
GP Tech thumb brake
Ohlins R&Ts
Ohlins TTX with ti spring
Motion Pro Revolver throttle assembly (about to be replaced with the kit assembly)
aforementioned BSTs
Renthal 520s
aftermarket rearsets
Gorillazilla carbon handlebars
Attack Performance bodywork
Fuel Cel tank

I've got a few more things on the shelf yet to be fitted :

kit cams / valve springs / head gasket / shift drum
Factory Pro shift cam
ISR superlight rear caliper
electric water pump
CBR1000RR (06-07) radiator
PFM cast iron front discs

Just don't tell the wife what it all cost !
