Stupid question (maybe)  :dontknow:

Just taken delivery of my "Under Armour Heatgear" long sleeve top and I gotta say I'm V impressed.

My question is - Should I be having more than 1 of these tops?
Bearing in mind I ride nearly every day in the hot season and I'm in my bike gear about 9hrs a day.
Andy and you other guys that have experience with these types of tops, whats your thoughts?

personally kev i'd have 2-3 tops, esp doing as much riding as yourself, you then easily have enough for 3 days without thought

Going to see how I get on with 2 first of all (can always wear a normal top if 2 not enough).
Looking forward to testing them out in the really hot temps now.
Got the 1st one today and was so impressed I ordered a 2nd straight away (free p+p anyway). Wanted to be 100% sure of the product and also the size I ordered before spending too much. As it turned out an L was exactly right for me.
Luv it when a plan comes together  :glasses9:

I'm with Andy here...

And Kev, you know I wear Base Layers.  Have done under my leathers for about 3ish years.  I've always had them as I used to wear them for running and cycling.  I also use Compression shorts/Long Johns too.

I have Helly Hansen, EDZ, MiiFit, NikePro, CCC underlayers and have to be honest...theres not much in it.  But the price is pretty different.  Those NikePro and Under Armour ones can be like 40 quid. Ouch.

All I would say, is now have two types (same make).  Hot and Cold weather ones.  Brilliant.  When I rode to you and back last year, used the Cold Weather ones.  Keep the chill off, even in summer over a long ride.  But for short trips (day tours etc) I used the Warm weather one.  Helped slightly last year in that fecking heat.

Bear in mind, anything lycra'ish based.  Unless your Arnie or Lawrence Dalliglio you look like a fat budda.  Ha ha.  So you need to breathe in when you take you top off.  I luckily have perfected the art of keeping my tummy in after some very unflattering photos' a few years back.
