Winter is sh*t,  end of.  It's cold, wet, cold, frosty, cold, snow, cold, dark and did I mention it's cold?  The only good thing about winter is that xmas is in the middle of winter and the NEC and Excel bike shows are on.  Apart from that it's just a pain in the arse.

Snow - leave the bike at home.

Everything else - its all in the layers.

Dont forget to rinse your bike down with fresh water before putting it away though, a quick squirt of WD40 wont hurt either.

Yeah, spent saturday afternoon giving the Fireblade a winter wash, then watched the ice form all over it  [wall] as it froze almost instantly. Pulled the bike out this morning and everything is frozen solid, brakes, forks etc etc.... couldn't even pump the front suspension as it was so cold. Poor thing will have to thaw out before I start it up.  F*@king weather.
