I have never used slicks before, anyway I was given by a racer mate, a set of used Dunlop N-tecs to try in Almeria. After seeking advice, the Dunlop officially line is 33psi max front and 22psi max rear HOT.

So here it is on my bike in action, along with a close up of the deformity.

i bet if you find a pic with a racetec type on there it will be a lot more deformed (i know mine are).just have a feel of the tyre wall on the n-tec when you take it off compared to the most other tyres.

N-tecs are by far the best tyres i've used,so much grip and if you get the pressures right last a lot longer than others.but at over 300 quid a pop they're not cheap.luckily get nearly new scrubs cheap cheap

Mate, thats not a deformity, just a beer belly. Happens to a lot of us, nowt to worry about!

nothing to worry about pal

all tyres do it weather it be on track or even on the road

when you accelerate the swing arm is forced into the ground via the chain geometry and this squashes the tyre as its the only thing that is plyable

Have a butchers at this for pressures, got it direct from Dunlop last year. but shhhh dont tell anyone as its confidential

Mate, thats not a deformity, just a beer belly. Happens to a lot of us, nowt to worry about!
