Attention of AndyJ and other push bike nuts

Need to taylor the bike to me with a new saddle

the one that came with bike isnt getting any easier to ride on and infact is prob hurting a bit too much after an hour or so on it

what or how should a new saddle fit properly etc?

any recommendations?

They (proper saddles) take a lot of getting used to , i remember when i was cycling a lot back in the 90s i could ride all day on a flite titanium. Now my arse aches jsut looking at one !


These days they all seem to have an anatomical split in the seat

you'll get used to it pal, it's just 'one of those things'   :-/

managed a few hours on my standard specialised seat today and it's fine with padded inner shorts  :icon_thumright:

the selle italia gel seats are top quality stuff for a bit more comfort it that's your thang

have done around 100 miles on the bike and its not getting any better, in fact hot spot is horrible

do need to look at gettng a decent one, the one thing that was scrimped on with the bike is the saddle itself

you'll have to Google it, but the Selle Italia Turbo saddle is the most comfotable I have ever used straight from the shop. They were first available in the 1980's, but I believe can still be got. I still use mine  :shock:

full suss makes it softer too  [whistle]  I rode a HT the other week and bloody hell you can climb well but on the bumpy stuff ouch  [rofl] [rofl]
