Used to do between 15,000 -17,000 miles per year on pushbikes every year for 15 years, but hey what do I know? :whip2:

If you only ride down hills, get full suspension  :blob5:, if you want to get up the other side, forget it!  Don't forget it's a push bike not a motocrosser! [whistle] [whistle] [whistle]

and there was me thinking that you had to do both  at most places  ;-)

or............. get a good bike with quality suspension that doesn't bob and then you can do both climbing and fast downhill, seems to work for me  ;-)

to be fair you dont need suspension for tarmac

so yeah you're prob right with the last part of your statement  [whistle]

i built my last bike based on a carrera frame with manitou spyder front forks and whatever other bits i could find then came across this beaut on ebay and not looked back since, had specialized rockhoppers and saracen havocs in the past but this Lapierre is awesome.used daily for work.
