Posted on gixerjunkies last night, hope it's a wind up or he's in the mire....

Well. It's happened. 7am this morning 8 police barged through my door with a warrant.

I'll be brief because I'm typing from my iPod.

YouTube videos were traced. Cheshire police got involved. Bikes been seized. All riding gear seized. All fairings seized. Gopro. Computer. Monitor. Printer. Memory cards/sticks. Posters of myself on the wall. All siezed.

11 hours in a cell and I had to plead guilty due to the evidence against me.

Bailed until January for dangerous driving. And I might not be getting the bike back.

For those that don't know, Glynn had a penchant for posting up vids of his "spirited" road riding on youtube. If you've done the same it might be worth removing them

Very, very worrying.
If only they'd spend this much effort catching pedo's and rapist though eh? 

Does he have his speedo showing on the vids Andy or are they judging speed by timing between 2 points?
Can he claim the video has been speeded up if the actual speedo isnt shown?

Cant believe they've gone to this much trouble and expense for this. In man hours alone it must've cost an absolute fortune.

Who says theres no plod on here? I don't know what anyone here does for a living. They have sourced his email address from Youtube, got hold of his service provider and they have what they need. Unless of course he filmed it from his house and then back home again........you would'nt think anyone would be daft enough but I have seen a lad that did.......

mate they dident just happen to be sitting in the station watching youtube . someone as brought it to there attention . and not saying it was anyone from here ..but we do have bobbys on bikes on here ...so i think we should all be careful what vids we post cos you never know

there was a lad on another forum got done last yr for similar things (although he only had 1 vid up  )


went down for about 3 weeks.


now on slightly different tangent,i'm not 1 for slating the police,more often than not i'm the one putting thier point of view across,do the crime etc... but theres something that doesn't sit quite right with me about this kind of thing,the time,money involved and court fee's,and no doubt some prison time just doesn't add up for someone just "showing off" on a bike.


hope it doesn't come to prison time but it's gonna be an expensive home movie non the less.

Wheres the perspective?
Does it warrant huge amounts of the tax payers hard earned being spent on such a triviality as this? (and if this operation cost less than 10k then Im a dutchman).
Not like the guy has injured anyone or caused damage.
As you say "if you do the crime" etc, but this seems to have been taken ridiculously out of proportion.

Cant help but think that there are some really evil people wandering around out there laughing up there sleeves while Plod wastes his time nicking bikers and such. Its a ridiculous situation.
The lunatics have definitely taken over the asylum!
