Another new (old) guy

Hi Guys, just bought a 2008 green 10 after years on big V-twins. Always loved the looks of these 10's and found a mint low miles one in Inverness last month. Impulse buy never having ridden one before, (none where I live on the Isle of Lewis) and was a bit worried that it might be too much of a handful. Pretty much all the tests said how lively the bike was, but no one came out and said how great a bike it is :headbang: I needn't have worried. Done 1500 miles on it now, new 2CT's on it and this is a really great bike. I've  had a number of lost bolts and loose ones, must keep an eye on them in future, this thing has vibration issues :!:. Look forward to talking to you guys in the future.

Hi and welcome to the forums  :occasion14: and congrats on your new bike

I had the same thoughts when I got my 05 a year ago, read the reviews after I bought it and was also a little worried but found its very ridable with a little throttle control.

Takes off like a fookin rocket when you want it to  :headbang:
