<< < (2/4) > >>

10rmish:
nice damper

kernowti10r:
The damper works really well. It is speed sensitive so I have it set 4 clicks from full on - 18clicks available. Haven't had any headshakes since installing the damper and changing the crap stock tyres (218s) for Diablos.

GRNINJA:
all steering dampers are speed sensitive you go and check the cheapest crappy damper and try and push the bars from left to right as quick as you can you you will find the faster you turn the bars the more resistants.....

though I have 24 click on mine I only use 4 ha ha ha, mine is meant to have special speed sensitive internals etc etc tis all just hype really aint it.

That looks very neat.... :icon_thumright: :icon_thumright:

hello hope this does`nt come across wrong, cus i don`t want to known as that clever fxxker up north ,,,BUT i have looked all over and car`nt find any info to say that all dampers are speed senitive.................. :icon_scratch:

what i do find is that only some of the more top end dampers are of speed type............it all goes back to people saying of horror stories from old days ie 1980s early 90s on things like 350 LCs that they had a low speed car park tumble because the damper was set hard and at low speed was to much..................

i can have my matris damper set to MAX and on the stand still the bars turn just as lite as if it did`nt have a damper on,but when on the move any cats eyes that get clobbered at over three figures the damper just sorts it out.....................

Sorry to harp on but i just don`t all dampers are the same....... :?:
