Newbie from Cornwall
« on: August 09, 2010, 08:27:38 PM »

Hi All,

Just got my ZX10R 05 last week. Taking things easy and getting to grips with the character of the bike after riding an R6 for 6 years

The Datatool alarm will be the first thing to go, feels like a cancer on the bike  then I'll try to pick up some mirror extensions or maybe change the mirrors  :?:

Got the Sprint after market damper on its weakest setting for now and so far havent felt the need for much damping. I'm sure that could change once I feel confident enough to use all the revs  ;-)

Will update you all later when hopefully I've got some miles under my belt

Cheers
Jak

Welcome Jak and congrats on getting 10r  :occasion14:

There been a few posts in the past about the mirrors, swaping for Suzuki items seems to be popular from looking at various sites around the net.

Thanks Guys

I'm from St Agnes on the north coast, I like to have a ride to Padstow harbour after paying homage to the Atlantic Highway, might see you there some day

will probably be tied up with family bank holiday weekend Horse, but will get back to you on this if I can steal some time off. Your bike looks very hardcore btw, quite some machine  :headbang: I'm more Sam Brown Belt than Dainese  :notworthy:

BTW, anyone notice the clutch cable wearing a groove in the front upper fairing panel  :!: :?:

Cheers
