Hi all,
I've just traded up from a T-plate ZX7r to an 04 reg ZX10r.
Everyone has told me what an animal this bike is but so far it seems really easy to ride and not the handful I was expecting.
Is there anything that I should be wary of?

I live in Teesside so all we've got is bumpy roads, I guess i'll just wait for the fun to start then eh!!
The bike is obviously set up better than the zx7r so it's bound to feel better.

Hi, I'm a newbie like you mate on a 1st gen 10R  B-)

I've nowhere near pushed it yet, but it does does feel easy to ride in the lower rev band. It handles nicely too and coming from an R6 I'm used to quick steering

I'm ditching the alarm next week and fitting a gear counter and then I'll start to explore the darker zone  :headbang:

Cheers for now, enjoy your bike   :occasion14:

Watch how you go mate, I was out last night (our usual Thursday night run to Whitby) and it all seems good. The only thing you really need to seem to have to watch is that you don't get caught on the power going over a crest if you're not expecting it 'cause the front really comes up on you quick.
Have fun.
