personally I think it is better.... I smoked for 6 year I have given up I feel better I will live longer and I won't have to worry about getting cancer from someone else smoking...

just my 2 pence nothing against smoking I actually like doing it and the feeling you get just didn't like stinking or didn't really feel the getting cancer part of it  :dontknow:

I know what you're saying but chucking yourself out of an aircraft or riding a bike fast on public roads is probably more dangerous. Stopping for a smoke and a chaton a rideout and admiring the bike is a nice way to spend 10 mins

I am on your side..... but I have chosen to stop smoking .... I choose to ride fast..... theres a difference to choosing something and the somebody else smoking in a public place.... ( the law only applies to enclosed public place buy the way)

I wish I still smoked some times but then I think of the smell, the way I felt when I didn't have spare cash to get a box of smokes(when I was poor in the army) and the dog shit type taste (not that I know what it taste like)  in the morning....

but ho hum I will leave it up the you guys who still smoke :-(

never smoked and bloody hate the smell, I understand the buzz and addiction but it's shite in my book.......... each to his own though.

If you don't smoke why should you have to come home smellingof it after a night out and I've seen a few people wih the big C and it's not nice at all.............  :crybaby2: albeit they didn't get it from smoking but all the same if you did it would be awful  :crybaby2:

No smoking in pubs in wales already   :occasion14:
