Went a slightly different route, got a zx6r rear resevour and pipe and fitted under the right hand side panel on my o7 10, just had to fabricate (sounds so much more proffesional than "made" dont you think) a l bracket fron some stainless fitted that under the tank fixing bracket and all is sweet and tidy.

This is my solution, took about 1hr to make from 2mm alloy plate and I used wire wool and autosol to give it a nice finish

It bolts to the rear peg mountings, curves behind the pipe and bolts to the metal bracket attached to the plastic heat shield. I might try another one in stainless, but this works great !

You may be right - black powdercoat might look better. Anyone else think black would be better  :dontknow:

When I make Mk2 I can post a diagram with measurements if anyones interested (can't do it right away as I didn't measure or draw anything up, I used the back of a cereal packet as a template and cut to size)   :icon_scratch:

yes have to say the braided hose looks a bit pants,
the black colouring has rubbed of a bit.

so i applied black boot polish and that did the trick. :icon_thumleft:

Why did you get the zx6 pot? it looks like my standard one will fit? just need a longer pipe down.
